About Us

FAQs

Providing quality home care services is the commitment we've made to our community. Proudly Canadian owned and operated, our caregivers are the foundation to the success of Premier Homecare Services Etobicoke. They form relationships with our clients to ensure we are able to provide the best service possible.

Here are some answers to questions we are most frequently asked:

  • What makes your caregivers different?

We recruit and hire caregivers that have a unique combination of qualification and compassion. All of our caregivers have graduated from a recognized personal health care program and also come with personal experiences that allow them to empathize with seniors and the aging process. CPR and First Aid certificates are a requirement, along with attending Premier Homecare Services Etobicoke comprehensive orientation program. On top of receiving competitive wages, all caregivers are bonded and insured as our employees.
  • Is there any obligation to go with Premier?

There is no obligation to go with Premier as our clients are not bound to any contract. Our service agreements simply outline the selected care plan and we ask that clients give at least two weeks notice for any requested change to services. Weekly or biweekly invoicing is our standard way of operating. Payment is due upon receipt.
  • Is there any minimum booking time?

3 hours is the minimum time requested of each client. Accommodations can be made in certain instances. Premier Homecare Services Etobicoke will try our best to be flexible and adhere to your needs. Our caregivers are able to meet with you for brief or extended hours as required.
  • What other type of care do you provide?

Our respite care service allows for the primary caregiver to have some kind of break. This can be a short break on a week-to-week basis to allow for some personal time, or it can be for a longer period such as a planned vacation. Whatever the reason, it is essential for primary caregivers to take breaks so they can care for themselves as well.

End-of-life situations require a certain sensitivity and caregivers at Premier Homecare Services have an awareness and understanding of how to handle these circumstances.
